A, an, some
There are 2 ways to say "a" or "an" in Spanish, depending on the noun's gender.
 a / an  masculine  feminine
   un  una

And there are 2 ways to say "some" in Spanish, depending on the noun's gender.
 some  masculine  feminine
   unos  unas


Plural Nouns
To make any noun plural:
  • If the noun ends in a vowel, add s.
  • If the noun ends in a consonant that's not zadd -es.
  • If the nouns ends in z, change the z to c, and add -es.
  • If the noun ends in an accented syllable (ión, és), drop the accent and add -es.
  • Change all articles and adjectives to the plural.
  • Choose a plural verb.

Note
Un chico + una chica = unos chicos.

When you make a noun plural, you often affect the whole sentence:
            Singular: El estudiante es trabajador.
            Plural: Los estudiantes son trabajadores.
