1.3H HW

Write a paragraph describing yourself and your family members, similar to the one on the 1.3D lesson page.  Make sure to use at least 4 conjugations of ser.

These people are from different countries. Write their nationalities, in a complete sentence, in Spanish.  Write them in the right form (masculine, feminine, singular, plural).

Example: Javier es de Guatemala,.  You’d write: Él es guatemalteco.

1. Hiroto y Sakura son de Japón. Ellos son                          .

2. Paula es de España. Ella es                          .

3. Lisa y Shanice son de Jamaica.  Ellas son                          .

4. Ramón es de la República Dominicana. Él es                         .

Now do the same thing, but you’ll rewrite the whole sentence yourself.  Remember that all you’re doing is replacing the last 2 words with one word.  Make sure the form (masculine, feminine, singular, plural) matches the people in the sentence.  Consult the list in 2.1A.

Example: Ellas son de Ecuador. You’d write: Ellas son ecuatorianas.

     5. Nosotros somos de los Estados Unidos.

6. Nosotras somos de Inglaterra (England).

7. David y Linda son de Nigeria.

8. Andrea y Laura son de Brasil.

9. Me llamo Daniela y soy de Uruguay.

10. Me llamo Isaac y soy de Israel.
